16-22 May 2011 - Schizophrenia Awareness Week

Schizophrenia Awareness Week is held annually in May. It provides an opportunity to raise community awareness of schizophrenia and mental illness in general. We do this through a range of activities, including information displays and events across NSW, a Symposium, Annual Poetry Competition and media coverage.

Wear a Sunflower House wrist band during Schizophrenia Awareness Week and engage your family, friends, work colleagues in conversations about mental health awareness and do some myth busting.

Angels of Hope race day Saturday 21 May

The Angels of Hope, Light and Hope Committee and Schizophrenia Fellowship are working together to raise funds for the Light and Hope Clubhouse in Illawarra. A race day will be held on Saturday 21 May at the Kembla Grange Race Course.

Costs are:
$110 per person for a table of ten or
$1100 per table

(Costs include breakfast and lunch buffet and a limited time drinks tab).
