Recovery Services
Recovery Services provides a range of direct support services for people with a mental illness. The services are based on the principles of providing individualised and holistic support to assist people on their journey of recovery. The programs and services provided are:
Pioneer Clubhouse
Pioneer Clubhouse is a psycho-social rehabilitation service for people recovering from mental illness. Clubhouse revolves around a work-ordered day and helps give structure to the lives of members.
Telephone Referral Information Support Service (TRISS)
People living with mental illness need information on many issues and our volunteers are trained to help all callers to find the information or service that they need. The TRISS service is open from 9 — 5 Monday to Friday. Call 02 9879 2600 or 1800 985 944. TRISS also offer an Outreach service providing regular individual contact with people living with mental illness and carers.
Support Groups
Relatives and friends of people with mental illness meet to discuss their problems, provide mutual support and share knowledge. Often guest speakers are invited to inform Support Group members on latest developments in mental health.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands volunteers support people living with mental illness in their daily lives and pathways to recovery.
