In her practice, Sophie provides diet and exercise services with a focus on long term behaviour change and aims to improve quality of life and achieve better health outcomes. She advocates for eating healthy and keeping active as a fundamental part of chronic disease management. As such, she will assist with the prevention and management of long term conditions including metabolic disorders (e.g. insulin resistance, Diabetes), cardiac conditions and associated risk factors (e.g. high blood pressure, high cholesterol), and musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis and injuries.

Sophie has been working with the Fellowship for several years, delivering the New Moves program, a 16 week healthy lifestyle program for people living with a mental illness. New Moves has physical activity, education and practical nutrition components, which are proving effective in helping people with mental illness address their physical health challenges. Sophie is therefore well versed in the challenges that people with mental illness face.
